đ April 2025 Release Notes
đ Whatâs New?
New Experience Triggers: Copy & Highlight
Weâve introduced two new display rule parameters for experiences: Copy and Highlight. These can be used individually or together to trigger an experience when a user either copies or highlights content on the page.

These actions often signal exit intentâfor example, when someone is about to search for the product elsewhere. Now, you can jump in with a timely message like a âLeaving so soon?â overlay offering a reward to encourage them to convert on your site instead.
Ideal for keeping users engaged at the critical moment!
đ§ Improvements
Accessibility Upgrade: Sign-Up Overlay
Weâve made important updates to improve accessibility in the sign-up experience:
-
Screen readers (tested with macOS VoiceOver) now announce error messages, such as invalid email entries.
-
The error message position and copy have been revised for better visibility and clarity.
-
A keyboard focus indicator has been added to highlight where users are when tabbing through the overlay.
These changes help ensure that all users, especially those relying on assistive technologies, can navigate and interact more easily.
Referrer Overlay Email Input
Weâve made it easier for users to complete referrals by allowing them to manually enter the referrerâs email on the Referrer overlay and inline template. This is especially useful when the system canât automatically pass the referrerâs email.
Referral Logic: Email Address Validation
To maintain referral integrity, we now prevent users from entering the same email address for both the friend and the referrer. While this isnât explicitly surfaced to the end-user, it ensures proper usage behind the scenes.
đ Bug Fixes
-
Template Switching Restriction Fixed â Previously, it was possible to change the experience template on both published and draft experiences. This should have only been allowed on drafts. Thatâs now been corrected.
-
CSV Batch Email Delivery Issue â Weâve resolved an issue where some users werenât receiving CSV batches of codes via email. In those cases, the files had to be regenerated manuallyâbut now this bug has been fixed and emails should arrive as expected.
