Choosing a Template for Your Experience

Templates are the starting point for any Experience. This is where you give your Experience a name and choose its layout and structure. Uniqodo offers a range of templates that make it quick and easy to launch experiences that fit your goals.

Name Your Experience

Start by giving your Experience a clear, memorable name. This will help you (and your team) quickly identify it in your promotion setup and reporting later.

Select Your Experience Type

You can choose from three Experience types:

  • Overlay – Popups that appear over the page. Ideal for capturing attention with time-sensitive offers or messages (e.g. exit intent, sign-up prompts).

  • Banner – Slim, persistent messages that sit at the top of the page. Great for subtle reminders or site-wide promotions.

  • Inline – Embedded content that appears directly within the page layout. This option allows seamless placement of promotions within the shopping journey, but it does require a small amount of additional integration work.

If you're planning to use Inline, your Customer Success Manager can help with any setup steps during your initial integration.

Browse Template Variations

Each Experience type comes with a selection of pre-built templates, designed to suit different goals and scenarios. You’ll find templates with:

  • Hero images

  • Code fields

  • Brand logos

  • Sign-up forms

  • Countdown timers

The thumbnail view gives a quick sense of the layout, and selecting a template shows a full preview so you can see the layout in more detail.

Preview Across Devices

Once you select a template, use the preview toggles to see how it looks on:

  • Desktop

  • Tablet

  • Mobile

This ensures the Experience is visually optimised for your audience—no matter where they’re browsing.

Next Step: Design

Once you're happy with your template selection, click Save & Continue to move into the Design step, where you’ll customise the content, colours, and branding to make it your own.

Note: If you go back and change the template later, your design customisations will be reset. Make sure you're happy with your layout before moving on.
