Design: Customise Your Experience

Once you've selected your template, the Design step is where you bring your Experience to life. Here, you’ll use the template editor to customise content, images, colours, and buttons—ensuring your Experience looks and feels like your brand.

The Template Editor

The editor layout may vary slightly depending on the template you’ve chosen, but all key editing options will appear in a panel on the left-hand side.

You’ll be able to edit:

  • Images & Backgrounds – Swap out visuals or update background colours.

  • Text & Descriptions – Use the rich text editor to change size, colour, alignment, spacing, and add links.

  • CTA Buttons – Adjust button text and colours, including hover states.

  • Close Buttons – Change styling to fit your design preferences.

Note: Fonts are inherited from your website’s styling and aren’t editable within the Design step. This ensures consistency with the rest of your site.

Template-Specific Placeholders

Each template comes with different placeholder elements (e.g. image slots, countdown timers, or code inputs). If you’re unsure about what something does, click the small “i” icon next to the field for helpful guidance.

Everything you update will be instantly reflected in the preview panel, so you can see exactly how your Experience will appear on your site.

Preview in Real-Time

Preview your Experience across:

  • Desktop

  • Tablet

  • Mobile

Use the toggle buttons above the preview panel to make sure your Experience looks great on every device.

Save & Reuse Your Designs

Once you're happy with your design, you have two options:

  • Save & Continue (bottom-right) – Progress to the next step of the Experience setup.

  • Save as Custom Template (top-right) – Save your design for future use. You’ll be prompted to give it a name, and it will appear alongside standard templates for you or teammates to use again later.

This is ideal if you’ve built a version aligned with your brand guidelines that you plan to reuse regularly.
